about

Edgars Rakovskis is a Latvian musician, composer and audio engineer. He started out in 2004 as the lead vocalist/guitarist and main songwriter for the band Relicseed, and it was the song "Brothers' Tears" that inspired him to compose the first string arrangement.

Rakovskis' upbringing was filled with various arts and especially music, as well as a regular live concert attendance. Being a child of musicians, he had an opportunity to listen to classical music at a very young age. A sense of harmony and composition inherited from his multi-instrumentalist grandfather has allowed Edgars to develop a no-boundary approach to the composing process combining various styles and sound elements in his pieces.

Since 2018 as a composer, producer, arranger and performer he is taking part in projects of different styles and genres reflecting his versatility and dedication to music.
